The Beersniffers team is a rare breed.

Our passion is to make it easy for beer lovers to get their paws on the best-selling ales, beers and IPAs from around the globe.

We use our keen sense of smell to sniff out the best artisans beers that the world has to offer so that you can find a beverage that tickles your taste buds.

Beersniffers and two beer buffs

But the Beersniffers origin story goes back a little further. Beersniffers is the love child of an Ale Aficionado and a Bloke with a Rather Large Shed. The Ale Aficionado was raised on beer thanks to his family owning several Lancashire pubs, and he’s sure that he was inadvertently fed beer rather than milk when growing up. 

The Bloke with a Rather Large Shed is also a proud Yorkshireman and a self-professed beer buff. One day, whilst the two were enjoying an ice-cold IPA, the Ale Aficionado suggested that the Bloke with a Rather Large Shed put his Rather Large Shed to good use and there was really only one use for it...to store beer!

The Bloke with a Rather Large Shed had a cheeky black labrador who could sniff out food from a mile off. As soon as the beer arrived, Sally the black lab had a great time sniffing all the cases of ale and “Beersniffers” was born.

Now a proud Yorkshire resident through marriage, (after all, she was never going to leave God's Own Country)  but still a Lancastrian, the Ale Aficionado is a true lover of the rarest beers and openly admits to dragging his very understanding family across the country to visit tiny monasteries that open for an hour a day to sell niche brewed beers.

Our Culture

If the Beersniffers team were a dog breed, we would definitely be a black labrador. Predominantly driven by food, we like to keep things simple and our culture reflects this:

We're laid back:

Like Sally the Black Lab, although we taking sniffing beer very seriously, we don’t take life too seriously. Beersniffers began because two best mates wanted to share their love of beer with the world...and we want to keep it that way. We don’t get stressed out by day to day problems or technical hitches (even when they happen, a lot). If it all gets too much, our motto is to sit down with a beer until the problem gets sorted.

We’re loyal:

They say a dog is man’s best friend and we certainly feel that way. We are fiercely loyal and will do anything for our customers, whether that be through incentives like our Beer Club or advice on which beer is the best! We give our customers a reason to come back and reward loyalty with our Beer Tokens.

We're great listeners:

Please let us know if you have a problem! We will always listen to your concerns and do the best we can to resolve them. Our customers are extremely important to us and we want to provide them with the best possible experience and products.
