Terms And Conditions – the legal stuff!
Welcome to our website www.beersniffers.co.uk (the ‘Website’). The Website is provided by BeerSniffers Ltd.
These terms and conditions (the ‘T&Cs’) apply to your use of the Website and your purchases of beer products on the Website (the ‘Products’).
MINIMUM AGE FOR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
We only sell and supply Products to persons who have reached the minimum age of 18 years.
We have incorporated various age checks in the order process to ensure that we comply with our legal obligations.
Our Website is intended exclusively to promote our Products in the United Kingdom.
ORDER PLACEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE
You can place an order by selecting the desired Products, entering the required details and following the instructions on your screen in the order process.
Before you can place an order, you will be asked to confirm that you accept these T&Cs.
When you are ready to order, you can go through the order process and place your order by clicking the ‘Pay’ button on the order page. Once you have clicked ‘Pay’, you can no longer change your order unless you contact us directly.
After you have completed the payment on the payment page, you will receive an e-mail confirming that you have placed your order. This e-mail contains details of your order, such as the Products and the prices (including shipping charges and tax), plus additional information on the order.
The contract between Beersniffers Ltd and you will come into force when you receive the Confirmation e-mail. You cannot transfer your rights under the contract or these T&C’s without our approval. You will own the Products when we have received payment from you in full.
We reserve the right to cancel your order if the Products are unavailable or if full payment has not been received. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time if we have reason to suspect that the purchaser or receiver of the Products does not comply with the minimum age for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
If your order has been cancelled, we will inform you as soon as possible and the money you have paid for the Products will be refunded to you as soon as possible (no later than 14 days after cancellation).
If we cannot fulfil your order because the Products are unavailable, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone to offer you an alternative Product where reasonable or to inform you when the requested Products are expected to be back in stock. You are entirely free to decide whether to agree to suggestions for alternative Products.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices and charges on the Website are in pound sterling (GBP) and include VAT and duties.
The prices of the Products are those shown on the order page of the Website when you place the order. The prices shown may be amended from time to time without notice.
You can only pay for the Products using the payment methods shown on the Website. We do not accept any other payment method.
All payment orders are processed through an external payment services provider. These payment orders are subject to the terms and conditions of the provider concerned.
By paying for an order with Paypal, a credit or debit card you declare that you are the holder of the ‘card’ used.
All cardholders will be verified and the issuer of the card will be asked to provide an authorisation check. If your card issuer does not authorise the payment to us, we cannot accept your order. In that case we cannot be held liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We currently only deliver throughout United Kingdom mainland. We do not deliver to the Channel Island, ie GY or JE postcodes.
If you place your order before 4pm, we will endeavour to deliver the Products in the next 72 hours. Please note, no deliveries are made on Saturdays or Sundays.
Your order will be delivered by either UPS, Fedex, DPD or Royal Mail and you will be able to track your parcel using the appropriate couriers app (if one is available for that service).
Persons receiving a delivery of alcoholic products must have reached the minimum legal age for alcohol consumption. The delivery driver may ask for the person’s age and proof of identity. The delivery driver may refuse to deliver the Products if no valid proof of identity is shown.
Under normal circumstnaces the delivery will not be left is there is no one suitable to sign for it.
RETURN SHIPMENT AND CANCELLATION
If you have changed your mind and wish to cancel your purchase, you must inform us no later than 14 days after the date of receipt of the Products. This time period does not affect your statutory rights for faulty or mis-described Products.
