Deep dark red colour with a light pink, compact and lacing head. Delirium Red offers a soft fruity aroma, with hints of almond and mildly sour cherries. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with a nice balance between sweet and sour. An excellent dessert beer.

Pours a Deep Chestnut Brown with a good compact off white head.

Smell

Touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate. Spices such as liquorice and coriander are also present.

Taste

Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.
