De Ranke

The De Ranke brewery name was first established in 1996.  However its roots go back to 1981 when Nino Bacelle and his brother first started experimenting with beer.  Nino and Guido decide to join forces go into business together under the name DE RANKE brewery. The name refers to the hop plant, according to them the plant that provides the most important ingredient in beer: the hop cones.
